Located at 100 Old Lackawanna Trail #12, Clarks Summit, PA 18411, Gio's Pizza Co. operates as a pizza restaurant serving Clarks Summit in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. The most common schedule is 12β9 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. When I moved from NY to clarks summit I had a hard time finding a Pizzaria that I would mention to my friends and family back home . Well Gio's is that place, the owner John is absolutely a fantastic human being. My son and I instantly became friendly with him due to his kindness and willingness to go the extra mile to take care of a customer. His dedication to putting out a quality wholesome Italian dish with his own twist on it is unmatched in this area.. Thanks from my son Rosario and I, we appreciate having this type of experience..

One of the best pizzas around. Trying to emulate that new haven style which is rare in this area but whatever the situation, it's amazing tasting. The New York pie is great but the tomato pie is even better. They have a white pie that's crazy good too. Problem is, it's very expensive for what it is. I know they are trying to be new haven but it doesn't suite the area. It was 44 dollars for two pies, one the old fashion (tomato pie) and one the snow white (white pie.) That's really crazy tbh. But there are other issues too. The atmosphere in this place is just not for me. Maybe people like it, but it's really off putting. The music is way too loud and the room is too dark and moody. Doesn't feel like a pizzeria at all, which is notable given they don't have table service. The issue I ran into though was the service. I called once and was hung up on. No big deal, idk why but I guess she didn't hear me. Second time, no issues. Placed the order for two pies. Was told 35 minutes with a tinge of unsurity. I got there about 25 minutes after I ordered and didn't mind waiting 10-15 minutes. But by the end it ended up being nearly 50 minutes from when I called. What bothered me though

I stopped here right before they closed and they gladly got me fed. That Was fantastic of them. The pizza was very delicious as well. My only grip was the black specs on the pizza. Seems like they need to clean their oven. Thatβs the only reason Iβm giving four stars instead of five. I will try it again in a few weeks and if itβs any better, I will update this review and give five stars.

Gallant Gio's, Many bites, and there are no rules. Gio's Pizza Co. Is a must-visit for anyone who wants to try New Haven-style pizza and other award-winning pies. I've never visited New Haven, but Gio's brings you there without the travel. The New York style was a great addition to the New Haven. The smell of charred mozz, sauce, and seasoning left a scent that triggered the senses into an eating frenzy. The fella at the register carried my pizzas over to me and knows how to keep Gio's gallantly operating onward. Order early or dine in. Thanks, Gio's

Me and wife saw ads for gios on Facebook and were drooling over the pictures of what was on the menu. We decided to take a drive and were greeted by one of the nicest guys youβll meet. We chose to dine in and since it was a Friday night and he knew it would be a bit of a wait, he offered us some of the hot honey pepperoni slices to hold us over (for free!). It was just a little taste of the amazing pizza would follow. We got the sourdough Sicilian with ricotta and pepperoni and it was one of our favorite pizzas of all time. Please stop by and eat in one night, I promise you wonβt regret it.
